BRĪNUMS
An animated lyrics video I made for Jānis Šipkēvics aka Shipsea, a Latvian musician, for Christmas 2025. The brief was to create visuals that spoke to wintertime childhood nostalgia and wonder so I used a watercolor style with action inspired by a vintage video game about snowball fighting.
Tools used: Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
Creative direction assistance: Hasaan Thomas
The music video was released by the artist on YouTube, as well as on music streaming platforms like Apple Music and Spotify. I created still visual assets for these various outlets, and 20 second clips from the video, re-worked in a vertical format for Instagram Reels.
The music video also served as a backdrop for a live performance of the song on LTV, Latvia's National Television channel.
