Editorial design for an article about the iconic Erykah Badu.  Sourcing my imagery from the web, I put together this spread inspired by popular fashion magazines. I chose a photograph that would work well to communicate Badu's personality and creativity in fashion, as well as have a composition that would allow for text to be laid over it while still being very legible and bold. I created the photo page in Photoshop and the text layout in InDesign, and then combined everything in Photoshop to show how it would look in a real magazine.
