I'm an animator, designer, and basketball fan originally from Latvia and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I love creating animation and design that mixes traditional media like pencil, watercolor, and stop motion with modern technology to create work that has depth and is unique. Though I always have a personal project in the works, I'm most excited to create animation for commercial avenues such as film and tv, music videos, advertising, and social media. 

I studied animation in college and spent my twenties building a handmade ceramics brand from the ground up. These days I prefer not to be covered in clay all the time, and am happy to have found my way back to animating. Over the years, my motivation in all of my work has remained the same -- to create art that helps us communicate in joyful, true, and experiential ways.
